DJ (Dongjun) Kim is a digital artist & creative technologist from Seoul, Korea. He focuses on simulating alternative realities and transitional states by generative AI and real-time interactive softwares.
With over 7 years of experience producing video content for a wide range of clients, DJ delivers keen visual sensibility and an adaptive creative approach to each project. His practice spans across disciplines, constantly expanding into new territories at the intersection of art and technology.
Currently based in New York, DJ is pursuing a master’s degree at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at Tisch School of the Arts, focusing on interactive installation, computer vision, and AI-VFX. He holds a BA in photography, video art, and digital art from Sangmyung University in Korea.
In addition to his visual practice, DJ works as a freelance technical director on both commercial and artistic productions and produces experimental music under his alter ego, fl4me.boi.
