DJ (Dongjun) Kim is a digital artist & creative technologist from Seoul, Korea. His work explores contemporary emotion and the shifting dynamics of transitional states, crafting alternative realities through generative AI and real-time interactive software.
Rooted in digital environments, DJ reimagines the physical world into speculative forms, reflecting the tensions and uncertainties of modern life. His practice blurs boundaries between art and technology, drawing on over seven years of experience in visual production to deliver work that is both technically precise and conceptually charged.
Currently based in New York, DJ is pursuing a master’s degree at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at Tisch School of the Arts, focusing on interactive installation, computer vision, and AI-VFX. He holds a BA in photography, video art, and digital art.
